PASTEL COW

This was painted in pastels, an amalgamation of a couple of photos. I changed the colour of the cow. It's an imaginary breed!

SILVER VASE

I just missed the deadline for this  Paint and Draw Challenge June challenge by a few hours, the reason being that I was watching the final of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. ( Andy Murray won a very exciting match) I sketched this very quickly with pastel pencils and I'm quite pleased with the result. Maybe I should give myself a time limit in the future. It would certainly stop me  fiddling!

This was sketched in answer to the January art challenge by Paint and Draw Challenge. I used a very old edding 1800 0.5 black pen. I love the scratchy effect and coloured it with W&N coloured inks .
