This is the best I can do. I realise that I need more shading between and underneath the apples. Not sure how I should have painted the background. On Nov.20th I posted pictures of the only other water colours that I've been reasonably happy with on my other blog.

Good work Jenni.Yes, darkening the shadows below the apples and also on the folds of the curtains in the background will give a better contrast.
