PONTE VECCHIO

 I used pastel pencils on 8"x12" natural sienna Pastelmat
 for the ADNW February challenge. I was completely out
 of my comfort zone, but I persevered! I think architecture
 is not for me.

TIGER

This painting is for the latest Studio Atelier
 challenge. The original photo was taken in
 a zoo, so I altered the background.

TOMATOES on the VINE

Painted with Pitt pastel pencils on anthracite Pastelmat for the current Paint and Draw Challenge. The background was a mixture of prussian blue and black.

Draped Cloth

                                      

                               For this month's Rookie Painter challenge I did a preliminary sketch, for a pastel painting. I liked the result and decided to post it.   2H graphite pencil on white Bristol Board. 8"x12"   

ADNW November Challenge

This was sketched for  ADNW, with a black gel pen, which unfortunately turned out to be water soluble. I had planned for it to be pen and coloured wash, but it would have turned muddy.
